BIBLICAL FAITH (Fundamentals) By Pastor Mike
Anchor Scripture
“Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you have received them, and you will have them.”
— Gospel of Mark 11:22–24

Belief, trust, and loyalty to God
Firm persuasion in something without physical proof
Complete trust and confidence
Something held with strong conviction
2. Biblical Definition
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
— Epistle to the Hebrews 11:1
Insight:
Faith gives substance to hope and serves as evidence of unseen realities. It is a heart-based conviction rooted in God’s Word.

B. The God-Kind of Faith is Critical in the Kingdom
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
— Epistle to the Hebrews 11:6
Faith is:
Essential for relating with God
The basis for receiving from Him
The proof of our trust in His nature and promises

Worship flows from the new heart (spirit)
It is expressed through obedience to His Word
Modeled perfectly by Jesus Christ
