Youth Holiday Camp Meeting (August 28–30, 2025)
The Youth Holiday Camp Meeting, held from August 28th to 30th, 2025, was organized with the purpose of bringing young people together in a godly atmosphere. The vision was to empower them for the future, equip them with practical skills, and expose them to life’s many possibilities.
The program took place in Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria, with participants arriving on Thursday from different parts of the country. During the camp, the youths embarked on excursions to places such as car manufacturing plants, workshops, and skill-acquisition centers. They were also trained in practical skills including baking, the production of slippers and shoes, fashion design, and agricultural enterprises such as fishery, poultry, and crop farming.
In addition, the camp featured games and a variety of recreational activities, providing opportunities for fun, teamwork, and bonding among the participants.
Beyond these exposures, the meeting was intentionally designed to inculcate godly values in the participants. In a world where many young people are unwilling to learn diligently or to follow godly principles—often driven instead by the desire to make money at all costs—the camp provided an alternative vision. It was a deliberate effort to capture the hearts of young people early, nurture them in the fear of God, and shape them into shining examples of Christ-like living.
To the glory of God, many of the youths surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, yielding to Him as their Saviour and Lord. This remains the greatest testimony of the camp, affirming that all efforts—spiritual, educational, and recreational—were not in vain.
When the program came to a close on Saturday, many of the youths were reluctant to leave because they had enjoyed such a rich, impactful, and memorable time together.
In summary, the Youth Holiday Camp Meeting was a remarkable blend of learning, exposure, empowerment, recreation, and above all, spiritual transformation. We are trusting God and looking forward to next year’s Holiday Camp Meeting, believing it will be an even greater time of impact and harvest for the Kingdom.
