Ps.5:3″ In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice ; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait in expectation.” Christianity is a love relationship. You cannot love someone that you do not know. And you cannot know someone that you don’t spend quality time with. To know Jesus is to love Him. To love Him is to trust Him. To trust Him is to obey Him.

To obey Him is to be blessed. It begins with a quality, daily communication with the Lord. Why is best to spend time with the Lord in the morning?

Because you are getting ready to go on a road trip through life. You don’t take the trip and then read the map, do you? How are you starting your morning?

With a cup of coffee and the paper ? With the TV News or Facebook? Or with the pure milk of the Word and the light of His presence? Do you have confidence like David in the Lord that He hears your voice? Do you hear His voice? Do you trust Him by bringing your requests before Him? Do you wait in expectation on the Lord or you are anxious and try to rush up the answers for your requests? Isa.30:18″ Blessed are all who wait for Him.” Ps.40:1″ I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry.”
Lamentation 3:26″ It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”
